If you know feng shui, you already hold the idea. Vastu came first — a refined Indian tradition for arranging buildings around sunlight, airflow, and daily life. No belief is required of you; only a floor plan, and a willingness to see it through an older, wiser lens.

Every floor of a home carries its own Vastu grid. Each is mapped room by room — entrances, kitchen, bedrooms — revealing the quiet adjustments that change how the whole house feels.
A home is assessed for its people. The full consultation aligns the plan with the owner's birth chart, with optional guidance on auspicious dates for signing, settling, and moving in.
Vastu was written for India, where the midday sun holds the southern sky. Cross the equator and the heavens mirror: here in Aotearoa the sun tracks through the north, warmth gathers in north-facing rooms, and the cold arrives from the south.

No. Treat it as a second opinion on your floor plan from a different design tradition. Most clients simply notice their home works better — more usable light, calmer rooms, a layout that stops fighting them.
Because that is how the assessment truly works: every floor of a building has its own Vastu grid, mapped over its own area and layout. A two-storey home is two complete assessments, not one — so every quote is personal to your home, with the birth chart alignment and remedies plan always included. Vastu has cultural roots in India, as feng shui has in China — but a consultation is practical: orientation, layout, light, and placement. Nothing in my recommendations requires any belief or observance.
Never. My entire practice is corrections that work with the building you have: rearrangement, use of rooms, placement, light. If a house carries a genuinely hard constraint, I will say so plainly and help you prioritise around it.
